Three Things to Purge In Your Life That’ll Help You Glow Up!

Sometimes, a good purge is necessary! Here are three things you can purge to help you glow up!


Your Wardrobe

I’m sure y’all are like ohhkkk how is purging my wardrobe supposed to help me glow up. So here is the tea…when you look good, you feel good. How many times have you gotten cute and you knew that fit was fire, you knew you were cute, cute. You started acting a little different, and your confidence was boosted. Imagine switching up your wardrobe so that you can always embody that feeling of confidence. Of course, purging your whole wardrobe is a lot, but you can transition things piece by piece. When you buy something new, throw something out (or donate it). Another tip is to start buying classic and basic pieces. They can always be dressed up or down. Sometimes, buying things that are too trendy is a waste of money. 


Buy what you like, not what the internet tells you. 

People

Purge the people, y’all…purgeeee the people! People always get to the end of the year to say, “I’m leaving everybody behind in the new year.” Well, girl…you can do it now. I’m not saying get rid of everybody, but if you feel something isn't right with someone, it probably isn’t. If you have to keep having conversations with someone about how to treat you…I hate to be the one to tell you this, but they don’t care. If you feel like a person is always messing with your mental, let them go! I know letting go of people is so hard, but I promise you, you’ll thank yourself later and feel better about yourself, knowing that you stood your ground and did what you needed to do for your sanity. 


Negativity

Negativity is the easiest way to kill a dream, a vibe, a conversation, or anything else for that matter. If you want to glow up and become a better you, you will have to shift your mindset. It sounds so cliche, and it’s something everyone says….it’s not often that I will tell you to listen to everybody, but this is one of the few times. The people are right…change your mindset. When you think negatively, more times than not, the situation will turn out to be negative. We understand that we are all human, and we have moments where negative thoughts come up in our mind, but the thing is, you don’t have to dwell on them. The times when you think of something negative, you literally have to train your mind to think the opposite, and it’ll become a habit. 


I know this list isn’t the be-all and end-all, but it’s a start. So find you a sale and start putting together your next fire fit. Get rid of those people who are taking up space, and train your mind to get rid of negative thoughts.
